Assembly Highlights:

  • We welcome Dr. David Busic who will be our General Superintendent in jurisdiction for the next two years. Dr. Busic will be with us to minister and to guide our business. He is asking for Q&A time with the assembly to address things that are stirring in your heart and mind. Bring your questions.
  • We will be electing a new District Superintendent. This is a crucial juncture in our work together. We want the right leader for the next chapter God is wanting us to join him in writing. The District Advisory Council has served as our search committee, and they will outline the process they have gone through. There will be time to ask questions and seek clarity. We will be given a name for consideration, followed by information and then a vote. My hope is that our new DS will be with us on Tuesday to greet the assembly and be installed. Then I’d love to invite him or her to join me in serving communion to you as we close the assembly.
  • Other important elections are before us: four DAB members (2 lay, 2 clergy), a new District NMI President, four NDI members (3 lay, 1 clergy), and 2 NNU Trustees (1 lay, 1 clergy).
  • We will ordain three and give first time licenses to seven.
  • We will honor the memory of our beloved DS Jerry Kester.
  • We will hear the first and last report from Randy Craker as our District Superintendent.
  • We will hear from our NNU President, Dr. Joel Pearsall.
  • We will hear the final report of our NMI President Debra Voelker.
  • We will view videos of important ministries from throughout our denomination.
  • We will be led in breakout sessions by our NMI and NDI.
  • We will have an introduction, pictures, and a few words from each of our pastors.
