In October at Pastors Retreat we presented the new WaPac Innovate & Impact Grant program now available to the WaPac churches who feel led to start innovative and impactful new ministries. This resource is made available to the local church so that each church would have the opportunity for extra resources in their effort to find new ways to reach their community and grow in its love and service for God and neighbor. This could be through, but not limited to, the development of new ministry efforts focused around community engagement, outreach and compassionate ministries.
THE GRANT PROCESS
1. Prayerfully determine if the innovation encourages the local church and community to grow in its love and service for God and neighbor. Bring the project idea you have developed to your church board and request board approval to submit an application to the WaPac Innovate and Impact Team.
2. Fill out the application in full and submit it to the WAPAC Innovate & Impact Grant Team. Applications are due February 28, 2025. You will receive feedback on your application to refine your proposal if you are invited to Pitch Day.
3. If you are invited to Pitch Day, then prepare a presentation for a project l proposal on March 22, 2025. Applicants will be notified of the results within two weeks and it will be announced at District Assembly 2025.
4. Resources will be disbursed to proposals who have received a grant based on their project plan and readiness to execute on their proposal.
